The Lois E. Finley Memorial Scholarship

Established in 1979 by Clarice Finley Lewis, ’43 and Donna Lewis, ’78, in loving memory of Lois E. Finley, ’37, who endeared herself to both colleagues and students during a distinguished 36-year career as an English teacher at Barberton High School. This endowed scholarship fund provides tuition assistance annually to deserving students at the junior or senior level who are majoring in English Education or English, with preference given to graduates of Barberton High School. Recipients are selected by the Scholarship Committee and the Dean of the appropriate college.
