Theodore and Betsy Harpley Endowed Engineering Award
The Theodore and Betsy Harpley Endowed Engineering Award is awarded by the Department of Electrical Engineering based on engineering talent, high scholastic achievement, leadership ability, and potential. The award can be applied to tuition, fees, other fees, books, and on-campus housing for an outstanding Akron-area undergraduate enrolled full-time in the Department of Electrical Engineering. The award is for three consecutive years, or six consecutive semesters, as long as the recipient continues to meet the criteria and remains in good standing with UA and the College of Engineering and Polymer Science. Awards used for anything other than qualified educational expenses will be reportable and/or taxable to the recipient.
