the LeBron James Family Foundation Scholarship

The LeBron James Family Foundation Scholarship Fund was created in September 2015 to support the partnership between the LeBron James Family Foundation (LJFF) and The University of Akron. In the fall of 2021, the first group of LeBron James Family Foundation students completing the Wheels for Education and IPromise Network programs will be freshmen at the University. The partnership will support and offer scholarships covering tuition and general fees to attend The University of Akron. Upon completion of the scholarship agreement between The LeBron James Family Foundation and The University of Akron, this fund document will be replaced with set criteria for award recipients and additional funding arrangements.
