Upward Bound - Green Family Scholarship

The Green family will donate $500.00 each year to be given to an Academic Achievement Programs participant who has actively participated in either Upward Bound Classic or Upward Bound Math and Science for a minimum of 2 years. The applicant must have shown potential to succeed in higher education by attaining at least a 2.5 accumulated G.P.A and demonstrate financial need. The selection of the scholarship recipient will reside with the administrator of Academic Achievement Programs. Applications will be made available to graduating seniors In January of each year and award recipient will be announced at the celebration of National TRiO Day the last Thursday in February annually. Students remaining in “good standing” (at least a 2.0 G.P.A.) are eligible for one renewal.
