The Norman H. Nye Memorial Scholarship in Engineering

The Norman H. Nye Memorial Scholarship in Engineering was established by members of his family to honor the memory of Norman H. Nye, a member of the College of Engineering, class of 1927. Mr. Nye was a talented mechanical engineer who held more than 50 patents and was an active member of his profession until his death at the age of 94. The scholarship shall be awarded to a deserving engineering student by the College of Engineering in conjunction with the Office of Student Financial Aid. The selection shall be based on the student’s creativity, inventiveness, persistence, and financial need.
