The Steven C. Zook Memorial Scholarship in Engineering
The scholarship will support an undergraduate student who is enrolled in the College of Engineering. The scholarship will be awarded to one freshman and will support this student for four years or five years, if the recipient participates in the College’s co-operative education program. It is the donors’ intention to support one student from his or her freshman year until graduation. This award will be applied to tuition only.
The recipient should meet the following qualifications:
The recipient must be a full-time undergraduate student in the College of Engineering. The qualifying freshman must have at least a 3.25 high school accumulative GPA. The qualifying sophomores through seniors must maintain a 3.25 college accumulative GPA. The recipient must be a citizen of the United States and a resident of the state of Ohio. Preference may be given to a graduate of a Stark County high school.Once awarded, the student will receive the scholarship on a permanent basis as long as he or she continues to meet the above qualifications. The College of Engineering will make the selection of the Zook scholar and will notify the Zook family of the selection.
