Lee Endowed Scholarship
The Lee Endowed Scholarship was established in September 2010 by Raymond K. Lee. The scholarship will provide financial support for a graduate of East High School in Akron, Ohio. The scholarship recipient will be a declared business major with a 3.0 grade point average and will have exhibited a level of community involvement and service.
Mr. Lee is both an alumnus of East High School (1975) and The University of Akron (1979), where he received his bachelor of science in Accounting. Mr. Lee started his career in public accounting, spending the majority of his career at Deloitte and Touche, upon where he was elected partner-tax in 1988. In 1992, Mr. Lee commenced the second phase of his career at Country Pure Foods and its predecessors, serving in a variety of roles, including his present position as chief executive officer and president. Mr. Lee has also served as a board member at a number of charitable, trade and business organizations, including University Hospitals Case Medical Center, College of Business Administration’s Advancement Council and Students in Free Enterprise. The Juice Products Association (past chairman) and MTR Gaining Group are among the many organizations he has served. Mr. Lee is pleased to be able to give back to the community by establishing this scholarship endowment fund.
