the Madeline Bozzelli Scholarship

The Madeline Bozzelli Scholarship will be awarded annually to a student who is majoring in marketing, public relations, or one of the fine arts: music, dance, theatre, or art. The scholarship was established in 1999 by Libert Bozzelli to recognize his wife’s lifelong community involvement and her interest in education. Because of their volunteerism, the Bozzellis wish to encourage University of Akron students to become involved in their University and community. The annual scholarship will be given to a full-time undergraduate student, regardless of need, with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Recipients of The Madeline Bozzelli Scholarship must have demonstrated involvement in University organizations and in their community. The University’s Scholarship Committee will select the recipient in cooperation with the Dean of the College of Business Administration and the Dean of the College of Fine and Applied Arts.
