Galen J. Roush Memorial Scholarship Fund

The endowed Galen J. Roush Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 1979 by the GAR Foundation as a lasting tribute to the late Galen J. Roush, Akron business and community leader, whose organizational genius led to the founding of Roadway Express Inc. The Galen J. Roush Scholarship Fund provides tuition assistance for deserving undergraduate finance or accounting majors enrolled in the College of Business Administration. Selection of recipients is determined by the University Scholarship Committee and dean of the college.
