The Gena Carroll Dance Scholarship

The Gena Carroll Dance Scholarship has been created to assist promising advanced and intermediate level dance students with a financial need at the Dance Institute of The University of Akron. This perpetual fund has been established as a tribute to Mrs. Carroll’s 28 years of devotion and inspiration to the Dance Institute. Recipients will be selected by the head of the Dance Institute and director of the School of Dance. The grant is renewable for more than one term.
