Center for Information Technology and E-Business (CITE) Scholarship
The Center for Information Technology and E-Business (CITE) Scholarship was established to recruit outstanding students to the college’s information systems and e-business programs and to recognize current information systems and e-business majors who demonstrate academic excellence. It is available to students at any level (undergraduate or graduate) and is renewable.
To be eligible for the scholarship, an incoming freshman must have a high school GPA of at least 3.0 and an ACT score of at least 21 or SAT score of at least 880, and be an information systems or e-business major. A current undergraduate or graduate student must be enrolled on a full-time basis, have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2, and be an information systems or e-business major. To remain eligible for this scholarship, the recipient must continue to major in information systems or e-business in the CBA, maintain a GPA of at least 3.2, and remain a full-time student. The CBA Scholarship Committee will select recipients. Freshmen recipients will be selected from the list of incoming freshmen as of February 1. Current students should submit a letter of application to the Committee Chair, CBA Scholarship Committee. The letter should contain the following: a brief explanation of the student’s circumstances of financial need; evidence of academic excellence; and a description of the student’s career goals in the fields of accounting information systems, management information systems, or e-business.
