Management Advisory Board Scholarship

The Management Advisory Board Scholarship was established in 2001 as the result of concerns from business leaders serving on the Management Advisory Board of The University of Akron’s College of Business Administration. Each year the scholarship is awarded to worthy students majoring in Management at The University of Akron. To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Accepted in the College of Business Administration
Completed at least one Management course beyond 6500:221, 222 and 301, 330
Completed at least 30 hours at The University of Akron
Earned a 3.0 GPA or above in Management courses and overall
Submitted a brief summary of why scholarship should be awarded
The Management Advisory Board Scholarship is awarded each year and is renewable if qualification requirements are met.
The Management Advisory Board Scholarship is funded by gifts from the Management Advisory Board of the College of Business Administration at The University of Akron. Additional contributions to the fund are welcome.
