The Peggy and Bill Maltarich, Jr. Endowed Business Scholarship in Excellence

The Peggy and Bill Maltarich, Jr. Endowed Business Scholarship in Excellence was established in 1998 by Peggy and Bill to thank The University of Akron for the fine education they received. Bill, a 1969 and 1975 graduate, with degrees in Sociology and Psychology, currently serves on The Advancement Council for the College of Business Administration. Bill works for TRW, Inc. as the Vice-President for Human Resources. Peggy, a 1980 Accounting graduate, teaches in the George W. Daverio School of Accountancy. In 1994, she was appointed to the commission to study the Ohio economy and structure. Currently, Peggy is the Director of Taxation at RJF International. The scholarship will be based on merit, with selection by the College of Business Administration scholarship selection committee.
