The James F. Dunlap Memorial Scholarship in Theatre

The James F. Dunlap Memorial Scholarship in Theatre was established in April 2000 with proceeds from the production “Fahrenheit 451” in honor of the longtime director of University Theatre. Dr. Dunlap led the theatre program for 23 years prior to his retirement in 1978 when he was named professor emeritus of drama. He died in 1994. The scholarship will provide financial assistance for a talented student majoring in theatre. Recipients will be selected by members of the Theatre faculty and/or the director of the School of Dance, Theatre and Arts Administration in coordination with the Office of Student Financial Aid.
