the Kerry Migdal Memorial Scholarship
The Kerry Migdal Memorial Scholarship was established in May 1987, in fond memory of Kerry A. Migdal, who died February 13, 1987. The fund’s purpose is to express the loss brought about by his death and perpetuate his most enduring qualities — humor and compassion. At the time of his death, Kerry Migdal was a first-year, second-semester day student of the class of 1989 at The University of Akron School of Law. It is the desire of those establishing this fund that at the beginning of the spring semester, a student from the first-year day class be selected as the recipient of this annual award. The selection process shall be coordinated through the associate dean’s office.
