Dorothy Laubacher Award in Home Economics and Family Ecology

The faculty of the School of Family and Consumer Sciences and friends established The Dorothy Laubacher Award in Home Economics and Family Ecology in 1977 in honor of Professor Emeritus Dorothy Laubacher, who taught in the school with distinction for 27 years. Since that time, Miss Laubacher has made arrangement for the award to be endowed. The award is presented annually to an outstanding sophomore or junior majoring in home economics, with preference given to a student in food and nutrition.
