The Robert W. Little Endowed Scholarship for Summit College

The Robert W. Little Endowed Scholarship Fund for Summit College was established to meet the needs of students who are enrolled in The University of Akron’s Summit College, which serves students who are interested in specific career opportunities and desire to enter the workforce as quickly as possible. Many of these non-traditional students have financial needs that may impede their future success in the College. With The Robert W. Little Endowed Scholarship Fund for Summit College and the matching gift from the GAR Foundation, non-traditional students with academic merit and financial need can be assisted.

Individuals eligible for The Robert W. Little Endowed Scholarship Fund for Summit College must be enrolled in at least 12 semester hours and have a 3.0 GPA within Summit College. Scholarship awards will be based on academic merit and financial need and will be determined by individuals appointed within Summit College. A student may apply in writing once a semester and up to three times a year.
