Reanetta Livingston Taylor Endowed Scholarship in Communication

In honor of The University of Akron’s We Rise Together Campaign, The Reanetta Livingston Taylor Endowed Scholarship in Communication was established in May 2023. Reanetta ‘04, ’06, is a proud two-time University of Akron (UA) alumna who received a bachelor’s degree in business and organizational communication and a master’s degree in communication after a successful career with FirstEnergy Corporation. Reanetta firmly believes in the importance of education, and as a UA Lecturer in the School of Communication until her 2019 retirement, she strived to provide University of Akron students with a top-notch education and expert mentorship. Through the creation of this scholarship, Reanetta hopes to uplift students on their paths to personal and professional success and to inspire other UA graduates to do the same.

Recipients of The Reanetta Livingston Taylor Endowed Scholarship in Communication shall be enrolled as full-or part-time students in the School of Communication at The University of Akron. Recipient selection will be made by the University of Akron Scholarship Committee in the Office of Student Financial Aid.
